Surprisingly enough, radiator or hot water heat is actually a very inexpensive and constant way to heat a home. With the new boilers that are out now, it takes very little energy to heat a home employing these items. Additionally, those with radiator heat often use under floor heat (as surrounding double bathroom vanities) which is a much better way to deliver the heat rather than with the use of the old radiators. If you truly want to make the switch, it can be done but is much more invasive, as you will have to run duct work throughout the house and then conceal it. So to answer the question simply, yes –it is possible… but no, it’s not easy!
