We asked our Contractor his opinion on how to go “really” green during a remodel and recycle or donate the building materials you remove during a bathroom project. Here’s what he had to say on the matter:
We did a 3 bathroom remodel for a client of mine last fall, and he wanted to donate everything we tore out. It was not easy finding a place to take it all, but he finally did. We salvaged the vanities, tops, sinks, faucets, toilets, and medicine cabinets. Most of the materials were split between Helping Hands and Habitat for Humanity.
