Have you been listening to the wobble of your ceiling fan for far too long and are considering replacing it with a unique wrought iron chandelier? While that’s not a bad idea, if you need the fan to keep circulation in your house, here are a few tips. Generally, there are two reasons why a fan will wobble when mounted on your ceiling. The first is that the mounting bracket attached to the ceiling has come loose or needs to be tightened. This is usually the case and always the easier fix. The other reason for a wobble is that one of the fan blades is a little lighter or heavier than the rest of the blades on the fan. You can purchase a balancing kit at any home improvement store and use trial and error to find the blade with a different weight. Once you have found the blade that weighs differently, move it up and down the blade until you find the place it balances out the fan.
